This appears to be a good review of what happened in committee, but lacks depth of issues leading up to passage and skims over the Feds backing of a flawed amendment.

Lots of stuff about H.R.1207 passing out of committee 43-26 without the help of Barney Frank chairman's vote.

I wonder why an audit is viewed as 'defeat', by trhe authors.....seems more like a service for all of us....... Transparency ( and honesty) in government is long over due.

I am concerned about adding political pressure to the Fed. On the other side of the coin is oversight which I agree right now is missing.
