Orrin Hatch focuses on the questions we need to be asking when considering Sonia Sotomayor nomination to the Supreme Court . Although Mr. Hatch pointedly avoids answering those questions, he does his readers a great service by defining the questions we each should be asking ourselves.

Sonia Sotomayor's statements, as well as her record, clearly reveal one thing: She places identity politics, based on gender and race, at the forefront of her worldview and her decision-making. I would rather have a Supreme Court Justice who emphasizes JUSTICE and CHARACTER.
