Amy Goodman - perhaps one of the finest interviewers in journalism - at last provided a dialog that was inspired by intellectual curiosity and not the general cafeteria style food fight that the commercial media promotes in order to sell their wares. Juan Gonzales intimate familiarity with Puerto Rican issues and personalities helps put together a unique view of the nomination. And he pronounces the names right. The professional and personal stories add background and substance. Discussions of politically activist jurists and fund-raising motivations of opposing nominees are included.
