California's top court upholds Prop. 8 ban on same-sex marriage

Pretty bland story on the ruling to uphold Proposition 8, California's ballot initiative that prohibits same-sex marriage. Doesn't get very deep into the legal ramifications.

The outcome we expected. Infuriating nonetheless.
