"Clean" Energy and Poisoned Water

Corporations in Colorado, Texas, Louisiana, Pennsylvania and upstate New York have launched a massive program to extract natural gas through a process that could, if it goes wrong, degrade the Delaware River watershed and the fresh water supplies that feed upstate communities, the metropolitan cities of New York, Philadelphia, Camden and Trenton, and many others on its way to the Chesapeake Bay.

We should remember that petrochem companies used to not allow women to work in their labs for fear of "female problem" lawsuits. They could thus say that there were no reproductive problems related to their processes since none had been reported. The science behind hydraulic fracturing vs explosive facturing is not open to discussion since there have been no reliable studies done on the former.

There is a reason oil people do not live where they work if they can help it.
