"There is a concern?" Who exactly is concerned? And why? How can they not be concerned that highly experienced, decorated military personnel with special skills we could use right now--Arabic translators. for example--are being let go because they are gay? How could they see it as more of a danger to have closeted gays who could be liable to blackmail, than open ones who are not? If this is the latest argument for discrimination, I have to say I find it a weak one. As a piece of journalism, this also fails because it only tells one side. And that fairly poorly.

While well written, this is not the time to be taking up the Presidents or Congress's time.

You read everyday that Obama has to much on his plate. This can wait, until there is a little more space on his overloaded plate.
