GQ and Democracy now show enterprise in digging out this perverted insertion of religion into the highest levels of the Bush administration. The effect upon Muslims of this framing of the illegal and immoral offensive war as a "crusade" against their religion is an important consideration.

It looks like Rumsfeld kissing up to Bush's religious addiction. This is as damaging as the torture.
