The article connects the climate change crisis with some of the third world people who will be strongly affected by the changes. National climate representatives from the Philippines are also reported from. An interesting perspective is presented.

The "can't read" comment might be taken as an insult by my friends in Madranka (Panay), given the PI education system that works hard at teaching basics.

The Philippines is one big coastal community of more than 80 million people. The country’s coastline stretches to more than 32,000 kilometers. About 70 percent of the country’s 1,500 municipalities are coastal areas, and home to millions of Filipino people.
