Frank Rich pulls together several recent Bush era stories that the Obama administration would just as soon see go away. His point that the "drip drip" of these stories has the potential to distract the nation from Obama's agenda is well made.

Rich goes where Fox never goes. He claims not to like Blue Ribbon committees.....then refers to the crater which is the 911 commission.

Rich is a true centrist....bring on the progressives to help him guide the investigation.

Well referenced, objective, factual. Damning, too.

I think that this situation concerning what the Bushies knew and did behind closed doors and with idelogical hubris will get a lot more depressing as more and more of the truth comes out. Nevertheless, the truth must be told.

Frank Rich is always well worth reading, but this piece is a stunner! Rumsfeld delivering directly to G W. Bush triumphalist religious propaganda supporting the idiotic invasion of Iraq! Almost daily, personally! Clearly, Rumsfled knew Bush was a religious zealot-pretender, seeking to be a Great Man of History. What an imbecile!

The Iraq War was and continues to be a financial bonanza for certain insiders, who continue to foster corruption and to deceive the American public. John McLaughlin (McLaughlin Group on PBS) is right: Obama should accelerate the US withdrawal from Iraq.
