Nato forces should withdraw from Afghanistan as a matter of principle but this will not end Talibanisation. Indeed, if Nato forces withdraw, parts of Afghanistan will be ruled by the Taliban once again. If Pakistan sides with them it will be isolated by the rest of the world. If it does not, it will have a hostile neighbour. In either case the Taliban worldview will be strengthened in Pakistan. Full Story »

It's really, really, interesting to read about the problem in Pakistan from the Pakistani side. There's a lot of mistrust of the US and a lot of propaganda. I'm impressed/concerned with the level of homage that the Pakistanis assume toward the US.

Not knowing either the author or the publication, this seems to be a Pakistani writing to other Pakistanis. The overall thesis is that Americans are not running Pakistan and that Pakistanis need to be aware of the non factual nature of anti-American beliefs.

Well, as an American, I am curious about whose payroll he is on. I would like very much to believe what he is saying. And yes, a lot of it is accurate.
