Reuters cites plenty of experts, which is helpful, but this story makes too many subjective statements for this to be called a news analysis. This assesses several aspects of the conflict in Pakistan -- security, foreign policy, trade -- but it's altogether too scattered to be very persuasive. Some of these sources seem cherry-picked.

Since this is primarily a financial news service, their main concern is the stability for investment. It is a good piece, well thought out, and reasoned.

Calling for calm and citing the exagerations of other news sources show goood insight.

Pakistan is not about to be taken over by the "Taliban" because the Pakistan military and political elite wont let it happen; just like they wont let true democracy happen nor change their self-defeating attitude towards India. When the "Taliban" threatens their hold on power and not just the American effort in Afghanistan, then you will see the vested interests react.
