Bush's neglect of Afghanistan and Pakistan and his failed and incompetent decision to prioritize the wrong battlefield in Iraq and let our real enemies Al Qaeda and the Taliban re-group, re-arm, and recruit, in the tribal areas is the real reason AfPak is such a threat to our security today. No article written about this should fail to mention this. The failure of the media and the failure of the Democrats and the unprecedented cowardice of the Republican cheerleaders that accepted this truly unprecedented mis-guided Middle East policy by Bush and the neocons, that allowed Bin Laden to escape, and the Taliban to re-take Afghanistan and threaten Pakistan, while nearly bankrupting the U.S. investing in a failed war in Iraq only to help Iran, was political insanity and corruption of the highest order. Obama and the rest of the non-Jihadist world is stuck with the dangerous after effects of this failed Bush stupidity, while he wears his cowboy boots, watches TV and trys to find donors for his library.
