I've yet to see an in-depth look at the Pakistan Taliban funding, but this piece offers a brief but informative answer in editorial form.

Goes against the conventional wisdom and sounds entirely credible. Now in addition to blood diamonds, we add counter tops, emeralds and lumber.

Those closest to the fire are most likely to see how it spreads and where it gets its fuel from.
