Pluralism has prevented Pakistani civil society from organizing a unified condemnation of the Taliban, or "Talibanisation," Huma Yusuf argues. This story did more to improve my understanding of Pakistani identity than anything I've read. Highly recommended.

This piece argues that a plurality of interests and causes is hindering Pakistani civil society from presented a unified front against the "Talibanization" of parts of the country. Lacks good sourcing or evidence, but is a worthwhile perspective that you don't find in American media.
