The article is well-written and gives advice that most, if not all, people can follow. But it doesn't seem very new or innovative. This sort of advice has been appearing everywhere since the recession -- and even before, in some publications. It's a good article, just not very original.

The author touched on various different diets people could adopt that are affordable and worked in the past. The depth that she went into made the story.

I feel that this topic is relevant and good for others to read about because many Americans are obese and having a poor diet because people do not have enough money to buy good, nutritious food does not make the problem with obesity any better.
