Political odd-fellows on school reform

(Blog Post) It might be the only subject that could draw all of them to a White House meeting, but the oddest of political bedfellows met with President Obama today on education reform.

Civil rights firebrand the Rev. Al Sharpton, New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, and former GOP House Speaker Newt Gingrich (a sometime Obama critic) huddled with the president. Full Story »

Nothing much here. A routine political meeting. Perhaps Obama invited Gingrich to keep Sharpton busy.

School reform at the federal level is dead and will be dead as long as the teacher's union is in charge of Obama educaton.
