my reservations about this article have to do with readership, not with the views of the sources. the article points out , accurately, that science reporting is needed now more than ever. it was interesting that news reporters at one conference were optimistiic compared to the roundtable discussion of another forum. i wish data for actual change in reader responses across the country with science-based news and new ideas for media sources, beyond the "bells and whistles", to engage more citizens in this area of information had been included.
