The assertions of the title and at the beginning of the article "these (6-figure earning) voters are not being repaid for their support" are not backed up by the actual content. It points to tax policies well explained to voters during the campaign and not yet implemented as proof that Obama is somehow unsympathetic and ungrateful for the support of this demographic.

I can only see this as baiting. Bush's policy was to bribe votes out of his 'political base' with tax cuts to the rich. Obama's policy is to give tax cuts where they are needed. Jeanne Cummings seems to believe bribery is a virtuous way of showing gratitude to voters.

perhaps but it's one sided-- how does he know what the hupper middle class or rich knew about the money they gave to Obama-- I gave h im money to stop the war NOW -- and I might as well have been burning the money-- however I don't know all the angles he has to go through and either does this person that wrote the story

I really think Obama got the support because the rich and higher income people thought they were going to get something for nothing. Come on--- 75% of the people in this Nation have no job and let me tell you they are overwhelmed over the rich and higher middle class getting more. So Obama has some insight into that and perhaps he wants to look at the next election and the people of this country will see that a President finally stood up the rich and upper middle class. Good for him
