An odd co-authorship with a couple original and potentially feasible ideas about education reform. I give it a poor rating on responsibility because neither author cites education policies he enacted in his state. To me, this is not a small or insignificant omission.

I thought this was important for what it said about the conventional wisdom about Education Reform. Every eight years, a new fad emerges as the savior of the"failing" American school system. Eight years ago, George Bush George Miller, and Teddy Kennedy were the saviors. For Bill Gates, that turned into "National Standards."
