The author does a good job of illustrating the history of this controversy, and highlights important steps in the Native American desire to have these sports teams change their names. I thought there could have been more quotations from the American Indian side.

If the American Indians say that the name is offensive to their culture, then there should be no question about changing it. Simple as that.
