Our new president got his political education in the world of Chicago ward politics, and seems to have adopted a strategy from the machine of that city's longtime boss, the late Richard J. Not exactly cutting edge news at this point, but it will be informative for those who may still see Obama as going to effect miraculous change in the nature of America; at least those who have not been told to believe that he is a diehard Marxist, and those who are likely to read Truthout and still be somewhat behind the curve.
