Makes too many unsubstantiated claims. One very specific problem is the claim that more charter schools will improve education. In Ohio, charter school attendance does not improve performance.

Written with focus and an energetic tone, Secretary of Education Arne describes the Obama administration's education goals going forward. This is more of a pep talk (ending line: "Let's get to work.") than a highly detailed policy piece; still, he does describe some specific programs and financial incentives, and hints at reforms like lengthening the school day and school year. Authoritative and optimistic, Arne stresses that for education to improve, schools, students and parents must all be involved.
