Has the 'Journal' Lost Its Soul?

Murdoch has not corrupted the Journal. Instead, he has smothered it and made it ordinary. When Prager invokes the Journal's "soul," he is referring to a tradition that was old-fashioned in the best sense, the sense that valued novelty, surprise and seriousness. This is a very interesting story about the changes In the Wall Street Journal. It makes a good point. The Wall Street Journal has changed and the changes are not good.
