The author makes a great point. In the days after 9/11, people would have beheaded Bin Laden on the Capital Steps. There's alot of short memories out there, and they should be called on it.

One thing you can say about Oberman, he's like a bull seeing red when going after a story. How people could watch O'Rielly over Oberman is a mystery. Maybe they just like to laugh.

Digby finds a clear example of a "pundit" who advocated torture and cheered Cheney on 7 years ago, and so have soiled any credibility regarding whether to prosecute.

So much for the Alter ego.
