The author does a good job of familiarizing the audience with the subject of capital punishment; a subject that has bee quite overshadowed for the past few years by developments in other issues. This article, however, fails to back up claims with concrete examples.

I strongly disagree with the death penalty and can only see hope in the fact that Texas is realizing the monster it has become.So what's next Texas, gay marriage? Maybe I'm jumpin' the gun...
