A very small slice of life from a very specialized perspective. Or a completely over-the-top observation from a totally obsessive point of view. Your pick.

I'm happy to know that others suffer the same pangs I do when I see the Times put periods in acronyms. Or pass a store with a sign advertising "DVD's." Cringe at the ever-present warnings about mentally impaired children playing on residential streets. Howl at the constant failures in emails and online posts to differentiate between "it's" and "its," "their" and "they're," "your" and "you're," and countless other butcheries of my mother tongue too numerous to name. It truly does my obsessive heart good.
