100 Days into his presidency has won over voters who once distrusted him

Pat McMullen is sipping a cocktail in a cozy booth inside Pat McMullen's Irish pub just east of downtown, an easy stop after work to talk politics.

"I didn't think he'd be good," McMullen is saying.

"No, you didn't," his wife, Margaret, affirms.

I found this story to be well written and very appealing. I like point of view that Wes Allison portrays in the story. Like the Pat McMullen in the story, I was a Obama hater, but now I have begun to change my mind. As a result, I felt that I could relate to the story and therefore, I enjoyed it even more.
