Since the First World already mucked up the climate, animal nature dictates that developing economies are piqued at having to clean up.

Since the industrial revolution, profits from the exploitation of fossil energy — coal, oil and natural gas — have not been equally distributed. America, Europe and Japan got rich off of oil and coal; now China, India and much of the rest of the developing world are attempting to do the same thing. I believe that this is a great publication because it is a relevant issue regarding climate change in the world and it brings to the table what other countries are doing, and how countries are working together to bring about change. Also, there are many sources cited that make this publication more factual and easier to trust because the sources and references are professional and insightful.
