In this learned analysis of prospects for peace in Israel, Pres. Carter tries to focus on the proposals for peace in his recent book. He clearly states the linkage between conservative Israeli leaders and vocal Jewish-Americans in their opposition to "land for peace." He treats various current proposals with constructive fairness.
