A thoughtful look at how to evaluate recent stories about threats from within.

As someone who was unsuccessfully recuited after I left the military, I know firsthand the value fringe groups put on recently seperated military personell. If this "leak" gets some of those who are contacted to turn in those recuiters or to think twice that this may either be a setup or is being monitored, it may have been worthwhile. I think it could have been done in a better way, but too late for that.

The article presents a seemingly evenhanded evaluation of the situation and the contending views on an explosive subject.

Racial and religious profiling applied against dark skinned muslims should not be a part of this concern about right wing terrorists.
