McGovern lays out the history of the tortured definition of torture and how it evolved under the Bush maladministration. Well written and thorough, with a number of links. There is perhaps insufficient note of Democratic support for the unconscionable military commissions act.

Shame on the nation's media for enabling the election of such an ethically and psychologically twisted set of rulers.

Because she protested, Radack was fired as Justice Department legal ethics advisor, put under criminal investigation, and even added to the “no-fly” list. More »
