Posted by Noelle Moranoa compelling argument is made here that ptsd is misdiagnosed in a large percentage of returning soldiers' cases, because of our current cultural predisposition to do so. the writer uses a number of sources to support this view, explaining it in depth, and tells why it's not a good thing for those misdiagnosed. what isn't addressed are those outside war conditions with this diagnosis.
The author does a good job at both presenting the facts of the article as well as drawing readers in with the personal stories of soldiers. The story is quite relevant today because of the staggering number of soldiers returning from the current war in the Middle East with diagnosed disorders.
