The attacks by Bush ex-officials are reported, along with a little bit of background discussion; but no deep investigation of the facts or the law.

Bush officials should be prosecuted for torture, they are defending themselves from the brig. The law says NO, regardless of any dubious claims to effectiveness. Experts say torture does not give useful info.
