Bard stands up against the foolishness, the lies, and the dangerous false demonizing promoted by rich partisan corporate media outlets, most notably Faux noose.

Even Bard gets the history of the Boston tea party wrong, but not as bad as the republican organizers. Bard correctly warns about organized pandering to fears and hate that reflect the McCarthy era.

When Bachus and the rest use the word “socialism” to describe President Obama (or any Democrat in Congress), they are either ignorant or lying. They are certainly not acting in good faith or in the best interests of the country. They are quite simply playing political games.

the protests are being portrayed as “grassroots” affairs by the right, even though they are being launched by three conservative groups (funded by wealthy Republican donors): Former Rep. Dick Armey’s FreedomWorks, dontGO and Americans for Prosperity.
