Bard stands up against the foolishness, the lies, and the dangerous false demonizing promoted by rich partisan corporate media outlets, most notably Faux noose.

Even Bard gets the history of the Boston tea party wrong, but not as bad as the republican organizers. Bard correctly warns about organized pandering to fears and hate that reflect the McCarthy era.

I can only assume this article is tongue in cheek. Certainly, nothing I've read has made me laugh so much in quite a long time. However, the original submitter seems to think it's serious, so I'll review it that way. All I can say is "Good try". If anything, the tea party protesters are protesting against this very sort of "neo-McCarthyism" that the author fears. If he's really worried about that, he should be on their side. The protesters aren't out to scapegoat anyone, but instead find themselves scapegoated. They're afraid of the very sorts of large invasive government that was typified by HUAC.

The Tea Bagers are facist. At times of recession people will follow groups with easy answers. This is a good article.

It is quality journalism because it is factual, and just like Joseph Welch standing up to McCarthy's lies and asking him if he has any sense of decency, not one single Republican has stood up to the right wing propaganda machine of Fox News, and the hate talkers, Hannity, Limbaugh, Beck, and the RNC and their lies and harmful and undemocratic attacks on the President and the will of the people. Never in the history of this country has a political party so totally disregarded facts and reality for their own partisan talking points, propaganda and re-writing of factual history.
