Last month, Greenleaf, Idaho, adopted Ordinance 208, calling for its citizens to own guns and keep them ready in their homes in case of emergency. It's not a response to high crime rates. It's not surprising that the right-wing Reynolds discusses burglaries, rather than how many people are killed by guns, in the towns that have banned/required them. In places with gun bans, no one gets shot to death. In places with lots of guns, more children accidentally shoot each other, more suicidal people have an easy out, and more crazy people lash out at their community. The end.
