This is an opinion piece. It is a clear and well-written personal opinion. It does not contain as much detail or pointers to detail as it should to be helpful to people new to the dabate. It expects the reader to accept the authority of the writer when ample supporting material is available to be linked. This is a blog, right? I would have been more enthusiastic about even a couple of strong attributed quotes. And, generally, I support the premise.
