Bill O'Reilly And NBC, Shouting to Make Themselves Seen?

O'Reilly, who has hosted the top-rated cable news show for five years, has long berated the mainstream media for lurching to the left, while casting Rupert Murdoch's network as one of the few balanced outlets around. O'Reilly is frequently on the offensive against liberal judges, professors and others -- he recently told an antiwar activist who appeared as a guest that she was a "lunatic" -- but his assault on NBC seems particularly personal. It is frustrating to read a piece by a jounalist in a Corporate Media Property so insensitive to the business of Corporate Media. The players he talks about act out the Corporate agendas and viewpoints of their employers as, one fears, he does. "The violence in Iraq may have been overemphasized at times" is a long disproven and highly misleading politicized talking point. The claim that the media called the Iraq situation correctly is equally ridiculous. How about writing something meaningful, informative, and insightful about the Media?
