A well done piece about my other "home town" paper. Gets into the issue of the papers vast debt load, lack of revenues via dropping advertising etc. Not much mention of the poor business management and the long history of financial benign neglect. Today they raised the price by 50 Percent..its not likely ot increase sales, the WSJ is only a half a buck more, a superb paper.

While having moments of excellent investigative journalism, on a day to day basis the paper has little to offer. The business section is a joke and sports are the main stay. I'd love to see the Times offer International Herald Tribune here..A GREAT PAPER!.
