Catholic Church gives D.C. ultimatum on same-sex marriage issue

The Catholic Archdiocese of Washington said Wednesday that it will be unable to continue the social service programs it runs for the District if the city doesn't change a proposed same-sex marriage law, a threat that could affect tens of thousands of people the church helps with adoption, homelessness and health care. Not much depth

Perhaps the city should say to the Catholic church that they won't be able to continue their tax free status if their priests don't stop abusing little boys. While they are at it they might reexamine their attitude to contraception in a world that is bursting at the seams.
