A newlook at the NEW fair use arguements. The responses are as insightful as the article.

The news gathering business needs to search for ways to get paid, just like freeTV, free radio, and even free newspapers have. Internet ads are much more productive and timely than print ads in my expirience. (I sold my truck in less than 12 hours near my asking price and had the first phone call in less than 20 minutes.) The largest hurdle will be old thinking on the part of advertisers.

I think that it's good that someone is starting to crack down on internet thieving. Nothing that is taken for free on the internet gets punished anymore, and I think that things like this might make people think twice before they do things that they know is illegal and wrong.
