Jamail is back in Iraq and on the streets and meeting the people involved. He foresees escalating violence.

So, if it happens, will Obama surge in Iraq or in Afghanistan, or both? Or will a realization come that we are the problem rather than the solution.

the leadership of the Sahwa groups under attack and the fighters under their control are left with two choices: sit by and wait to be arrested or assassinated, or begin to fight back. Thus far, we are seeing the latter
