Karzai Ruling Faces World Criticism

The law which has not yet come into force, critics say the women can only seek work, education or doctor's appointments with their husband's permission.

This brief news report is poorly written and offers too little factual evidence and sourcing about the new Afghan law which would legalize rape in marriage. This important human rights issue deserves more coverage -- or at least links to more in-depth reports.
