Most of the demonstrators were peaceful, but some skirmishes broke out as police tried to keep thousands in containment pens surrounding the Bank of England. Tony Benn's views and perspectives on the G20 meeting, and the protesters for democratic economic systems is interesting.

If we want our government run by an elected democracy, we should also want our institutions that are more powerful than governments elected democratically.
