The NYT appears to have done significant investigative journalism in the murky and dishonest world of black water to pursue this corruption story. A number of anonymous sources, but that seems to go with the territory if there are bribes in a crime.

Blackwater/Xe seems to have added a violation of the corrupt practices act to their mass murder in Iraq.
