You could almost hear the international sigh of relief that greeted President Obama's videotaped message to Iran last week. After eight years of bluster and threats, an American president civilly addressed both Iran's people and its leaders; he spoke of mutual respect, of Iran's role in making the world "a better and more beautiful place," of "shared hopes" and "common dreams." If the US opts any form of appeasment with Iran, it will be a mistake. Iran's current President after all led the Hostage Crisis in the late 70's , the Mulahs do not want an Infidel nation as friends and they are the power. Happily the Iranian people hate most of their own government.
