You could almost hear the international sigh of relief that greeted President Obama's videotaped message to Iran last week. An interesting opinion piece of how Mr. Bush and previous periods of Iranian-USA relations have stalled, floundered and been squandered. the view to the future, seems equally murky. No much emphasis or context on Iran's terrorist background, US Hostages etcc. Not much background data.

If the US opts any form of appeasment with Iran, it will be a mistake. Iran's current President after all led the Hostage Crisis in the late 70's , the Mulahs do not want an Infidel nation as friends and they are the power. Happily the Iranian people hate most of their own government.
