Torture did not yield significant leads, officials say

In the end, not a single significant plot was foiled as a result of Zubaydah's tortured confessions, according to former senior government officials who closely followed the interrogations. The actual facts about the results of the torture have been long in being uncovered, and contradict the lies put forward by the Bush administration that seem intended to justify their inhuman and illegal acts.

Those who try to justify inhuman war crimes by claiming torture works now have one more case that contradicts them, and adds to the views of responsible interrogators who have been saying for a long time that torture gives worthless crap.

A very good report on the various torture methods that were done to Mr. Zubaydad. While this is a very good article, nothing will ever come from it. As the counterterrorism source, and I'd bet you Dick Chenny and co., believe, this man was as close to Bin Laden as anyone could get, and theres no amount of information that will change their evil minds.

If Bush/Cheney and co., started having doubts about what they did, they would probably lose their minds.
