Will NAFTA exterminate Canadian pesticide bans?

"The ban would eliminate the use of conventional pesticides for cosmetic purposes on lawns, gardens, school yards and parks," says an Ontario government press release. The arrogance of international corporations to instigate and then try to enforce NAFTA regulations against the will of democratically elected local officials is spotlighted here with a dandelion killer and Ontario.

Short term profit maximization is mandated by law, and it imperils the public good.
