The story looks at Republican opposition to Dawn Johnsen an faux grounds and provides the panoramic background of bush league ideas of law. It shows that disdain for open government and for the rule of law has become ingrained as policy of the Republican party.

The justice department appointments are some of the most encouraging Obama appointments for those who support the rule of law. That the Republicans are defending the recent dark stain of secrecy and torture should be more widely recognized.
